Yesterday someone kindly left these two discs in my letterbox - many thanks, they will be welcome in either Tonga or the Cook Islands.
Disasters such as tsunamis and hurricanes devastate small Pacific islands, and their very remoteness makes recovery from disaster extremely difficult and very expensive. This blog will detail my efforts to collect and deliver much-needed goods to our Pacific neighbours when disaster strikes. I guarantee that goods will be delivered to those most in need. One of the boys at the Shed suggested that reading glasses would be welcome in Tonga and Shed members have generously donated over 20 pair for me to take to Niuatoputapu in December. If Pacific neighbours supporters can help with unwanted spectacles any donations will be much appreciated - please drop them into the Shed, or call me on 479 1808 and I will collect them.
